Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a Security Guard and play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to maintain a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, proactive loss prevention, and effective emergency response. As a key member of our team, you will ensure safety protocols are followed diligently while providing excellent service to visitors and staff alike. Your dedication will help foster a secure atmosphere where everyone can thrive.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety compliance
Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or breaches
Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes
Enforce security policies and procedures consistently to uphold the safety standards of the facility

Skills

Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and procedures to handle various security situations effectively
Proficiency in surveillance technologies, including CCTV systems, for continuous monitoring of the premises
Experience in loss prevention techniques to deter theft and minimize asset loss
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities
Ability to respond calmly and decisively during emergencies or high-pressure situations
Good communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency personnel
Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts

Pay: $16.13-$25.22 per hour

Work Location: In person
