We have an exciting opportunity for a Broadcast Advertising Sales Executive in Regina SK.

In this position you will be responsible for building a portfolio of accounts aimed at growing revenues in broadcast advertising for the Co-operative. Tasked with prospecting, conducting impactful sales presentations, closing deals, and offering exceptional service to meet customer needs, ultimately striving to achieve or surpass assigned sales goals.

Main Duties include:

Develop and execute sales strategies to generate revenue through broadcast advertising sales.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with broadcast media outlets, advertising agencies, and potential clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media buyers, advertising executives, and decision-makers within client organizations.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling advertising campaigns that align with business objectives and client needs.
Prepare and present sales proposals, pricing quotes, and advertising packages to prospective clients, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and campaign objectives.
Negotiate and maintain advertising agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions, pricing, and performance metrics, to secure profitable partnerships.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for innovation and growth within the broadcast advertising landscape.
Ensure all necessary client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time, providing timely and accurate reports on results as required by management.

Competencies for Success:

A Minimum of grade 12 education.
Radio and TV sales experience at the commercial level and the ability to develop solid business client relationships is required.
A minimum of two years advertising sales experience in a media sales/account management role.
Effective communicator – written and oral, with strong analytical skills, problem solving and decision-making ability.
A strong understanding of company products and services would be an asset.
Effectively develop and maintain strong account relationships.
Self-motivated and ability to work with limited supervision.
Clear Criminal Record Check.
A class 5 driver's license
