Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bread Baker to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality bread and baked goods, ensuring consistency, freshness, and presentation. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your baking expertise in a dynamic environment dedicated to delivering exceptional products to our customers. Candidates with experience in food preparation, cake decorating, and food safety are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of bread, rolls, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
Ensure all baked items meet presentation and taste expectations
Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace
Monitor baking times and temperatures to guarantee optimal results
Package baked goods for retail display or wholesale distribution, maintaining proper food handling procedures
Assist with inventory management, including ingredient stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
Maintain adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service when interacting with customers or during special events

Experience

Previous experience in baking or pastry arts is preferred, especially in a bakery or restaurant setting
Skills in cake decorating, food preparation, cooking, and food handling are advantageous
Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in baking and food safety practices is essential
Experience working within the food industry with a focus on quality control and customer service is desirable
Knowledge of packaging techniques for baked goods to preserve freshness and presentation
