Duties

Supervise daily café operations, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning routines
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of baristas and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding service
Oversee food handling, cooking, and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
Manage POS systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
Conduct interviews and hiring processes to build a skilled and friendly team
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food storage practices
Implement training programs focused on hospitality excellence, food safety, and customer engagement
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere
Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the café environment in accordance with health codes
Cost products and services

Experience

Proven supervising experience in food service or restaurant management roles
Extensive background in food preparation, and food industry best practices
Hands-on experience with POS systems
Strong team management skills with a history of leading diverse staff in hospitality settings
Familiarity with restaurant management operations including inventory control and scheduling
Prior experience in customer service roles within cafes or restaurants is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen procedures, and hospitality principles
Barista experience is a plus for understanding beverage preparation and guest interaction
