Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Director oversees daily operations, including staff recruitment, supervision, workload distribution, and performance management, as well as conducting evaluations and implementing improvement plans when needed. The role also involves collaborating with a broad range of campus stakeholders to advocate for high-quality teaching and innovation, including the integration of teaching and research, evidence-based pedagogies, curriculum development and renewal, educational technology adoption, interdisciplinary approaches, Indigenization and decolonization efforts, and the development of accessible and inclusive learning frameworks.
