Embr Events, Canada's leading beverage alcohol experiential marketing agency, is looking for reliable and motivated Event Logistics Assistants to support our festival activations throughout the season.
As an Event Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible for transporting, setting up, and packing down our festival activation equipment. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, comfortable driving, and able to lift and move event equipment safely.
Responsibilities include:
Festival Set-Up
- Pick up a rental SUV or minivan.
- Travel to our storage facility.
- Load event assets, including tents, tables, empty coolers, promotional giveaways, tablecloths, uniforms, and 50 lb tent weights.
- Drive equipment to the festival venue.
- Access the festival grounds and unload all equipment.
- Set up the activation space according to provided instructions.
- Leave the site once setup is complete.
- Return the rental vehicle as directed.
Festival Load-Out
- Pick up a rental SUV or minivan.
- Travel to the festival site.
- Pack up all event equipment and supplies.
- Transport all assets back to our storage facility.
- Unload and organize equipment.
- Return the rental vehicle.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving an SUV or minivan.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow setup instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently.
This is a casual contract position. Shift times and durations will vary depending on the event schedule. We are looking for team members who are dependable and committed to completing each assignment safely and professionally.
