Senior Architect

In-Office, Full-Time | Regina, SK

This role provides exposure to a wide variety of project types and scales, alongside a stable, growth-oriented environment where technical expertise and leadership are valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of complex building projects from initial concept through to construction completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes, strong coordination, and alignment with client objectives.

Project Leadership & Delivery

Lead architectural projects from initiation through design development, construction documentation, and contract administration.
Oversee project schedules, deliverables, and coordination to ensure timely and successful completion of design milestones.
Provide thoughtful, innovative design solutions.

Technical Design & Documentation

Produce and review detailed contract documents, specifications, and construction drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Apply in-depth knowledge of building codes and regulatory requirements to ensure compliant and constructible design solutions.
Coordinate envelope design and technical detailing to meet performance, durability, and compliance standards.

Interdisciplinary Coordination

Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout all project phases.
Ensure design intent is consistently maintained across all disciplines through clear communication and coordination.
Review drawings and documentation for quality, consistency, and technical alignment across project teams.

Mentorship & Team Development

Provide guidance and mentorship when needed.
Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages learning, accountability, and design excellence.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Manage internal client relationships and maintain strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Translate client needs into effective design solutions.
Participate in discussions with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Registered Architect in a Canadian jurisdiction is required.
Minimum of 8 years of post-registration experience in architectural design and contract administration.
Proven experience leading multiple projects through full design and construction phases.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Revit is required.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Lumion, and Photoshop is considered an asset.
Advanced understanding of building codes, construction detailing, and envelope design principles.
Excellent English communication skills is required.
Proficient working knowledge in French is considered an asset.

Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage complex design challenges.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
