Commercial Solutions Lead
Ground Truth Ag is looking for a Commercial Solutions Lead to help drive customer discovery, product adoption, implementation, and commercial growth.
This is a customer-facing commercial role for someone who is comfortable with technical products, understands customer workflows, and enjoys working across sales, product, support, and field operations.
You will lead introductory customer calls, support demos and tradeshows, help qualify opportunities, coordinate installs, assist with escalated product support, gather customer feedback, and implement tools and AI workflows to improve lead generation and commercial follow-up.
This is not a pure sales role and it is not an engineering role. It is a commercial role that requires strong product understanding, customer communication, practical problem solving, and the ability to turn market feedback into action.

Required Qualifications
- Experience in agriculture, grain, agtech, elevators, seed cleaning, food processing, or commodity quality.
- Experience in sales, customer success, technical sales, implementation, support, commercial operations, or a related customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable explaining technical products to customers.
- Strong follow-up, organization, and CRM discipline.
- Ability to qualify opportunities and identify appropriate next steps.
- Comfortable leading customer calls, demos, and trade show conversations.
- Willingness to travel for installs, field visits, tradeshows, and customer meetings.
- Ability to coordinate across commercial, product, technical, and operations teams.
- Interest in using AI and automation tools to improve commercial workflows.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
Optional Valuable Skills
- Experience with hardware/software products or technical field products.
- Experience with Intercom, Airtable, Jira, or similar tools.
- Experience creating onboarding materials, support documentation, demo scripts, or customer playbooks.
- Experience supporting pilots, installs, or product launches.
- Experience attending tradeshows or managing event follow-up.
- Comfort with early-stage products and evolving customer workflows.
What you’ll be working on
- Lead introductory calls with prospective customers and partners.
- Qualify customer fit based on workflow, commodity type, business need, facility readiness, and adoption potential.
- Explain Ground Truth Ag’s product, value proposition, workflow, and implementation process.
- Support product demos, pilots, customer presentations, and commercial follow-up.
- Represent Ground Truth Ag at tradeshows, conferences, and industry events.
- Capture leads, qualify opportunities, and manage post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate customer installs, onboarding, training, and post-install follow-up.
- Act as the commercial point person for escalated customer support issues.
- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve customer issues and communicate updates to customers.
- Visit customer or partner sites for field support, troubleshooting, and relationship development.
- Gather voice-of-customer feedback and share insights with product, engineering, operations, and leadership.
- Support customer-facing product testing, demo readiness, and commercial launch readiness.
- Create and improve customer-facing documentation, FAQs, onboarding materials, and demo scripts.
- Maintain disciplined CRM records, next steps, customer notes, and opportunity tracking.
Work Conditions
- The salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000 CAD per year, based on experience and qualifications.

- Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with the opportunity for overtime when required.
