Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario
Compensation: Approximately $180–$350 per day (based on enrollment and program participation)

We are currently seeking caring, professional, and dedicated Home Child Care Providers to join our growing network across the Greater Toronto Area.
Position Summary
As a Home Child Care Provider, you will operate a licensed home child care program within your residence, providing a safe and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Providers will work in partnership with It Takes a Village Canada Home Child Care Agency to ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, quality standards, and best practices in early learning and child development.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing home environment for children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences and activities.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Foster positive relationships with children and families.
- Create an environment where children and families feel respected, valued, and supported.
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and Ministry of Education requirements.
- Maintain accurate attendance, health, and program records.
- Participate in agency visits, training opportunities, and professional development.
- Ensure appropriate supervision and health and safety practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience caring for children in a professional, volunteer, or personal capacity.
- Knowledge of child development and early learning principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing inclusive, culturally responsive, culturally affirming, and family-centered care.
- Ability to maintain a safe and organized home environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Welfare Record Check (required prior to approval).
- Access to a suitable residence that can meet licensing requirements.
