Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Store Worker, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, uniforms, and other textile items essential to our hospitality or service operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that all laundry and cleaning tasks are completed efficiently, contributing to a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in laundry management, cleaning, and customer service within a vibrant workplace.

Responsibilities

Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently to process linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles.
Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for distribution to various departments or clients.
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including washing stations, storage spaces, and surrounding work zones.
Assist with basic cleaning duties around the store or facility to support overall hygiene standards.
Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents; notify management when supplies need replenishing.
Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily laundry processing targets while maintaining quality standards.

Skills

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of laundry procedures and equipment operation.
Ability to perform cleaning tasks diligently with attention to detail.
Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving heavy loads throughout shifts.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward assisting colleagues.
Basic understanding of safety guidelines related to chemical handling and equipment use.
