Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Day Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring a high standard of food quality and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly restaurant environment year round, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The Day Line Cook will play a key part in maintaining efficient kitchen operations during daytime hours, supporting the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace throughout shifts
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
Stock and replenish ingredients as needed, notifying management of supply shortages
Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and accidents

Experience

Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team during busy daytime shifts

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
