Job Summary
The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting guests with product selection, completing sales and general retail operations.
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
- POS operations.
- Assisting the store team in achieving and surpassing store targets.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
- Being aware of promotional offers throughout the store.
- Awareness of loss prevention.
- Opening and closing procedures.
- Receiving stock accurately.
- Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
- Ensure that all related activities are conducted in a safe manner through sound judgment and knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Abilities
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Provide SIN # - either physical card or documentation provided by Canadian Government
- Must have minimum 1 year in customer service. Experience in retail is considered an asset.
- Must have completed Grade 12 education.
- Intermediate computer experience.
- Ability to work in a team and show initiative.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
