Our downtown location provides passenger and light truck tire services along with full mechanical repairs. Our Commercial Division, located in the Big Eddy, specializes in commercial tire services for medium truck (MTR), off-the-road (OTR), construction, and industrial applications, as well as passenger and light truck tires.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Tire Technician to join our team at our Big Eddy location.
In this hands-on role, you’ll install, repair, service, and maintain tires for a variety of commercial trucks, trailers, equipment, and vehicles. The work can take place both in the shop and out in the field, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable with physical work, enjoys variety, and takes pride in getting the job done safely and properly.
Commercial tire experience is an asset, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who brings a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package available after 3 months and opportunities to develop your skills and build a long-term career in the tire industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, repair, replace, rotate, and service tires on commercial trucks, trailers, equipment, passenger vehicles, and light trucks
- Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and safety concerns
- Perform flat repairs and other tire-related services using appropriate tools and equipment
- Ensure tires are properly installed, inflated, and serviced according to safety standards
- Perform mobile and roadside commercial tire service when required
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, jacks, tire-changing equipment, and other service equipment
- Safely lift, move, and handle commercial and heavy-duty tires
- Assist customers professionally and provide dependable service both in the shop and in the field
- Maintain service equipment, tools, and work areas
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing tire inventory
- Complete deliveries and pickups as required
- Work closely with the rest of the team to keep jobs moving safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- No commercial tire experience required — we are willing to train the right person
- Previous tire, automotive, mechanical, heavy-duty, or equipment experience is an asset
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including regularly lifting and handling heavy tires
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning to use tire service tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices
- Dependable, punctual, and able to take initiative
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Friendly and professional when dealing with customers
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Additional tire, automotive, or safety certifications are considered an asset
