Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Drawing Teacher to inspire young learners through the art of drawing and visual expression. In this role, you will create a vibrant classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity, develops fine motor skills, and nurtures each child's artistic talents. Your enthusiasm for teaching and experience working with children will help cultivate a love for art and self-expression.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging drawing lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates children to explore their creativity
Guide students through various drawing techniques, styles, and projects to enhance their artistic skills
Support children's emotional development by encouraging self-expression through art
Maintain a safe, organized classroom that inspires curiosity and focus during art activities
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to promote growth
Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support each child's artistic journey

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching art, specifically drawing, to children
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively
Experience working with children in early childhood education settings
Excellent communication skills to clearly demonstrate techniques and inspire students
Ability to create fun, educational activities that foster creativity and confidence in young artists
Knowledge of various drawing tools, materials, and techniques suitable for children’s use
A passion for nurturing artistic talents and encouraging self-expression through visual arts

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
