- Flexible working hours of 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday (i.e., 37.5 hours per week).

About the Position
- We are searching for a temporary full time Pharmacy Services Analyst to join our Pharmacy Services team.
- PBC’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 and up per year; the base pay offered is based on market and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. The starting salary will be determined based on a combination of skills, education, and experience.

As a Pharmacy Services Analyst, you will leverage your clinical expertise, analytical thinking, and professional judgement to help shape drug benefit decisions that affect thousands of members. Working at the intersection of healthcare, policy, and business, you'll evaluate complex coverage requests, interpret plan provisions and provincial policies, and provide insights that support equitable, sustainable, and evidence-based outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, asking thoughtful questions, and translating information into practical recommendations. You'll collaborate with, cross-functional teams, and external partners while developing a deep understanding of private and public drug benefit programs.

The Pharmacy Services Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring our drug benefit programs remain clinically sound, financially sustainable, and member-focused.
By applying pharmacy expertise and critical thinking, you'll help guide complex coverage determinations, assess emerging medication trends, and provide recommendations that support both members and plan sponsors. Your work will influence important decisions across the organization, helping balance clinical outcomes, member experience, and long-term benefit sustainability.
Beyond individual cases, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams by providing pharmacy insights that support strategic initiatives, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement. Your ability to navigate complexity, communicate clearly, and make well-reasoned recommendations will contribute directly to Pacific Blue Cross's mission of delivering better health outcomes for British Columbians.
Key Experiences You Bring To This Role
- Minimum 3 years’ community pharmacy experience or experience in a setting that requires a strong knowledge of pharmaceutical product
- Regulated Pharmacy Technician in BC (preferred)
- Familiarity with provincial health legislation and policies
- Proficiency with MS Office, including intermediate level Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated analytical and decision making skills
- Experience in direct customer service an asset
