Car Sales Executive

Job Overview

A Car Sales Executive is responsible for helping customers select and purchase new or used vehicles while delivering an excellent buying experience. The role involves understanding customer needs, explaining vehicle features, arranging test drives, negotiating prices, preparing sales documentation, and building long-term customer relationships. A successful Car Sales Executive consistently meets sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers and identify their vehicle requirements, preferences, and budget.
Present and demonstrate new and used vehicles, highlighting features, specifications, safety systems, and benefits.
Arrange and conduct test drives.
Explain financing, leasing, warranty, insurance, and extended service plan options.
Prepare quotations, purchase agreements, and all necessary sales documentation.
Negotiate pricing and close sales while ensuring profitability.
Follow up with prospective customers through phone calls, emails, and messages to generate repeat business.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage referrals.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions using CRM software.
Stay updated on vehicle models, market trends, competitor offerings, and promotions.
Coordinate with finance, insurance, and service departments to ensure a smooth delivery process.
Assist customers with vehicle registration, delivery, and post-sale support.
Participate in dealership events, promotional campaigns, and community outreach activities.
Maintain showroom appearance and ensure vehicles are presented professionally.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
