Position: Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist
Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 + Annual Bonus

Position Responsibilities and Duties
· Must meet weekly, monthly targets set
· Talent Sourcing and Acquisition: Proactively searching for candidates but not limited; using LinkedIn, job boards, networking, cold calls, recruitment platforms, job fairs and creative methods to headhunt top talent
· Screening and Assessment: Reviewing resumes and conducting phone/video interviews to evaluate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit background checks and reference checks the shortlist candidates. ...
· Hiring Manager Collaboration: Working with department heads to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and set hiring strategies.
· Interview Coordination: Scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, coordinating with stakeholders, and collecting feedback.
· Candidate Management: Serving as the main point of contact, providing updates, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the process. Lock down the successful candidate.
· Offer Negotiation and Onboarding: Extending job offers, negotiating terms, and initiating the hiring process, including background checks.
· ATS Management: Maintaining accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
· Market Research: Providing insights into salary expectations, talent availability, and hiring trends.
· Other duties assigned
Qualifications
· Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in a related field required* Preferably Human Resources Management, Training and Development and/or Business Management
· Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources position working directly with employees training and development
· Rapport-building, empathy, friendliness.
· Assessment Capabilities: Talent recognition, screening skills, critical thinking, evaluation techniques.
· Communication Techniques: Active listening, questioning, summarizing, feedback delivery.
· Operational Skills: ATS proficiency, scheduling, documentation, process management.
· Emotional Competence: EQ, empathy, resilience
· Active Listening: Allowing candidates to finish speaking without interrupting to truly understand their experience and taking notes on key qualifications.
· Structured Interviewing: Asking all candidates the same competency-based or behavioral questions (e.g., "Tell me about a time you faced conflict...") to ensure fair, unbiased assessment.
· Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Recognizing when a candidate is nervous and creating a welcoming, friendly atmosphere to elicit honest answers, or reading non-verbal cues.
· Talent Assessment/Technical Knowledge: Evaluating if a candidate's hard skills, such as proficiency in specific software, align with the job requirements.
· Relationship Building & Communication: Setting a positive tone, demonstrating active engagement, and clearly explaining the company culture and role expectations.
· Sales and Persuasion: Effectively pitching the benefits of the company to top talent to pique their interest.
· Time Management & Organization: Managing the schedule efficiently to conduct multiple interviews without falling behind, while ensuring prompt follow-up
· Goal-Driven Focus: Their desire to hit targets and/or completed tasks/ assignment/ projects that outweighs any temporary hesitation or fear of social awkwardness
· Assertive Communication: They initiate conversations effortlessly and clearly articulate value propositions without sounding aggressive or pushy.
· Resilience to Rejection: They do not take "no" personally. Instead, they view objections as natural steps in the workplace to learn and perform better
· High Empathy: They are socially bold but highly perceptive, allowing them to read body language, actively listen, and adapt their pitch to the needs of team members or clients
· Natural Curiosity: They ask deep, probing questions to uncover pain points because they genuinely enjoy learning about people and solving problems.
· Unwavering Confidence: They project authority and belief in their service/product, which instantly builds trust and credibility with prospects and team.
· Effective communication involves conveying your message clearly, concisely and accurately with an advanced level of the English Language
· Technical Proficiency, must type a min of 50 words/minute and advanced in excel with MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel, Outlook, Google Chrome, etc.

· Must own a vehicle and have full access at all times

Work Schedule:
· Monday, Wednesday, Friday Shift: 9:00am to 5:30pm
· Tuesday & Thursday Shift: 12:30pm to 9pm
· Every Week Swap Wednesdays for Saturday: 9:00am to 5:30pm
· This is a fully on-site role.
· Must be flexible and available to swap evenings with day shifts
· Must be flexible to swap Saturdays with Wednesdays if no weekend shift if required.
