Job Description
Roadmarking Canada is seeking a Road Marking Supervisor to lead and coordinate pavement marking operations on construction and infrastructure projects across New Brunswick. This is a hands-on supervisory role combining on-site coaching and supervision with active participation in pavement marking work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate pavement marking crews on active job sites
- Plan daily work schedules and assign tasks
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and site logistics
- Perform and oversee permanent pavement markings (Type 2 systems such as, but not limited to sprayed MMA, extruded MMA, structured markings)
- Operate and oversee striping equipment, layout, and application
- Ensure compliance with DOT specifications, job plans, and occupational health and safety regulations
- Conduct jobsite inspections and quality control checks
- Train, coach, and support crew members
- Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and clients
- Complete daily work reports, time sheets, and material logs
- Enforce company safety policies and jobsite protocols
Employment Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in road marking or specialized pavement marking operations
- Supervisory or foreman experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of pavement marking materials and application methods, especially for Pavement marking systems for advanced wet night visibility
- Ability to read and interpret plans, layouts, and specifications and transfer in construction environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and in outdoor construction environments
- Physically able to perform construction-related duties
Language Requirements
- English required for workplace communication and safety compliance
- German considered an asset
Wages & Benefits
- Wage: $36.00–$38.00 per hour (meets or exceeds the prevailing median wage)
