Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Maker / Installer to join our team. This role involves weeding, laminating, applying films and installing a variety of graphics and signage for commercial and residential clients. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, cleanliness and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ability to time manage and handle tight deadlines. This position offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic environment dedicated to speed, efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Assemble and produce custom signs using various materials such as vinyl, lexan, aluminum composite and acrylic.
Operate sign-making equipment including plotters, laminating/application table.
Using power tools such as drills, skill saws and jig saws.
Maintaining clean work spaces.
Install signs safely on different surfaces including walls, vehicles and storefronts, adhering to safety standards.
Remove old signage and prepare surfaces for new installations.
Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand signage requirements and specifications.
Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition through regular cleaning and troubleshooting.
Ensure all signage meets company quality standards.

Experience

Prior experience in sign making or related trades is preferred.
Experience operating sign fabrication machinery is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Ability to read work orders accurately.
Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship are essential for success in this role.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to project changes are highly valued. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about visual communication, creativity, and hands-on installation work who are eager to contribute to high-quality signage solutions.

Pay: $16.68-$25.00 per hour
