Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Field Service Tire Technician, where your mechanical skills and customer service expertise will drive success on the road! In this energetic role, you’ll be responsible for providing on-site and field tire services, maintenance, and repairs to a diverse range of vehicles and equipment. Your hands-on approach will ensure safety, efficiency, and satisfaction for our clients while you enjoy a rewarding career in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers the opportunity to develop your technical skills and grow within a supportive team dedicated to excellence.

Duties

Perform tire installation, repair, rotation, balancing, and replacement on various vehicles and heavy equipment at customer sites.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and identify mechanical issues related to tires and wheel assemblies.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
Assist customers by explaining repair procedures, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive service experience.
Lift heavy tires and equipment safely during service tasks, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Maintain accurate service records, documentation of work performed, and inventory of parts used.
Support sales efforts by recommending appropriate tire solutions and accessories to meet customer needs.
Perform tire service on farming equipment

Experience

Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, tires, and wheel assemblies is essential.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance procedures enhances your effectiveness in this role.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience with automotive or heavy equipment repair is a plus.
A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and expanding technical expertise in tire services.
Service truck experience.
Farm equipment wheel change experience.
