Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Red Seal Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of automotive systems, utilizing your advanced skills to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. As a certified professional, you’ll be instrumental in delivering top-tier service while honing your craft in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience will be the foundation of your success here, empowering you to tackle complex repairs with confidence and precision.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles operating smoothly
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble automotive components efficiently
Assist in heavy lifting tasks involving engine components, transmissions, or other large parts safely and effectively
Maintain accurate service records, document repairs performed, and communicate findings clearly to team members or customers
Stay current with automotive service innovations and industry best practices through ongoing training and certification updates

Qualifications

Valid Automotive Red Seal Certification demonstrating recognized professional credentials in automotive repair
Proven mechanic experience with a strong foundation in automotive repair techniques and vehicle maintenance procedures
Solid mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized auto repair equipment required for complex repairs
Experience with auto body repair or auto restoration projects is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling engine parts or vehicle components
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to diagnostics
