Full job description

Sentrex Wind Services is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team. Sentrex provides field services and clean technology solutions for the renewable energy industry in North America. We are a small but dynamic and growing business, with a highly motivated and uniquely skilled group of technical professionals in Quispamsis, New Brunswick.

Prior experience in administrative operations or managing a small engineering or field services company, or demonstrated project management skills and organizational skills would be assets for this position.

Description of the role:

· Administration of company operations, including office administration, field services administration, and product manufacturing and logistics.

· Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, hotels, rental vehicles, and crew itineraries.

· Schedule trucks and transportation for equipment, materials, and field teams. Prepare shipping labels, packing lists, and documentation for incoming and outgoing equipment. Track shipments, coordinate deliveries, and resolve freight or logistics issues

· Assist with purchasing materials, tools, and replacement parts; maintain purchase order records.

· Learn, maintain and improve company’s digital information systems.

· Answer and field phone calls about services and products.

· Review client installation reports for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation

· Update internal systems with installation results, device status, and job completion notes

· Report to and take direction from upper management.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

· 2+ years of administrative experience in a similar role, and/or;

· High energy curious individual who works hard, completes targets

· Strong organizational and communication skills, empathetic and able to coach and encourage

· Strong attention to detail in all areas of work, particularly reporting and proposal document reviews

· Excellent oral communication and written communication skills.

· Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word

· Ability to quickly learn and use various software applications and company information systems.
