Compensation
- Salary Range: $22-$28/hour

What You’ll Do
- Measure, cut, install, and repair damaged drywall
- Estimate the quantity of materials required by measuring surfaces, reviewing scopes, sketches and work orders
- Ceiling texture
- Tape, mud, sand, and texture surfaces
- Prepare and protect work sites
- Prepare surfaces and apply primers, paints, stains, or finishes
- Apply finishes that are sponged, ragged and layered
- Feathering/blending wall paint
- Match colors and apply coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
Required
- Drywall repair and finishing experience (taping, mudding, sanding, finishing)
- Painting experience
- Valid driver's licence

- Restoration experience
- Texture matching
- Spray experience

- Do you have your own trade tools for drywall and painting? Please note that On Side provides materials and supplies.
- This role sometimes requires working later than scheduled, as jobs may need an extra hour or two to finish properly. Please explain your ability to stay late when needed, knowing all overtime is paid.
- Nice to have: carpentry experience and the ability to assist with finish work on site. Please speak to your in-home carpentry skill set / experience.

- Restoration work requires documentation and tracking throughout your workday. Do you have basic computer and/or tablet/iPad experience?
- Are you able to work a Rotating On-Call Schedule (Responding to emergency calls after business hours)? This is additional to scheduled daytime hours. Premium and overtime is paid.
Experience:
- Brush and Roller Painting: 3 years (preferred)
- Drywalling and Drywall Repair: 3 years (preferred)
- Texture Spraying: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Canadian Driver's License (required)
