Full job description

What does your day at GIP look like?

Delivery of concrete products in a safe and efficient manner
Provide prompt and effective customer service
Maintain a clean and mechanically sound truck
Perform plant and yard duties as assigned which could include operation of heavy equipment

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You have a valid class 1 or 3 driver's license with an air brake endorsement and a minimum of one year of truck driving experience and a clean Driver's Abstract
You know and respect the Highway Traffic Act and Municipalities Bylaws
You are familiar with a Ready-Mix vehicle equipment and better yet have good experience working with it.
You can perform circle checks, including air brakes and operate various transmissions
It's a definite advantage if you know concrete and construction and are familiar with driving conditions on a construction site or other off-road experience
You have experience in the operation of heavy equipment
You can be flexible to work overtime and different shifts as required
You have excellent hearing and visual concentration skills
You're a great problem solver and can come up with solutions to problems that work for everyone.
You can deliver exceptional customer service, solve unexpected issues and anticipate future customer needs
You have great interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
You’re team oriented, efficient and collaborative.
