Marina Operations & Office Coordinator
Position Overview
Anglers Anchorage Marina is a 120-slip marina located in beautiful Brentwood Bay, BC.
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Marina Operations & Office Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration and operations of the marina. This full-time role is responsible for office administration, customer service, invoicing and accounts coordination, occupancy management, seasonal communications, and supporting the smooth operation of marina activities throughout the year.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and enjoys working closely with marina guests, contractors, staff, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
Office Administration & Customer Service
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the marina office.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for guests, contractors, suppliers, and tenants.
- Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
- Maintain organized office systems, records, contracts, and filing.
- Coordinate marina communications, documentation, and customer correspondence.
- Coordinate slip assignments, occupancy tracking, waitlists, and customer agreements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with marina customers and stakeholders.
Invoicing & Financial Administration
- Prepare and issue invoices for slip fees, electrical services, and other marina charges.
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
- Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with the marina owner and bookkeepers as required.
- Maintain accurate vendor, contractor, and supplier records.
- Assist with basic financial reporting and administrative record-keeping.
Operational Support
- Coordinate scheduling and administrative support for marina operations.
- Liaise with marina management, maintenance staff, and contractors to ensure efficient operations and logistics.
- Maintain office inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Support health, safety, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with coordinating operational projects and seasonal marina activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in office administration, operations coordination, property management, hospitality, marina operations, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with invoicing, accounts receivable, and financial administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and marina management software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a busy seasonal environment.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in a marina, boating, hospitality, tourism, or recreational environment.
- Knowledge of marina operations and boating terminology.

Compensation
- Full-time, year-round position.
- Compensation commensurate with experience.
- Vacation and flexible scheduling during slower seasons, to be discussed during the hiring process.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
