Part-time Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a part-time Receptionist / Administrative Assistant for set hours weekdays from noon until 4:30pm. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, is highly proficient at multi-tasking, works well independently, and takes pride in providing excellent service to clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Primary position to answer and direct phone calls during shift, taking accurate messages when necessary
Provide general information to clients and handle routine inquiries
Manage scheduling and assist with calendar coordination
Sort and distribute mail and packages
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, document preparation, and scanning
Support staff with occasional project-based administrative work including rental increases and application processing
Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
Other administrative tasks

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant is preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Clear and professional phone manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a team environment

Education: Secondary school completion preferred

Experience:

Front desk or customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Administrative support: 1 year (preferred)
