We are currently looking for a skilled, confident, and reliable Licensed Dental Assistant. If you are passionate about patient care, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are a multitasking pro, we would love to meet you!
The Role
Working side-by-side with our dentists, you will play a central role in ensuring our clinical operations run efficiently and our patients feel comfortable. We need an assistant who is proactive, organized, and confident in their chairside skills, with a strong willingness to adapt to our practice’s rhythms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-tier chairside assisting for a wide range of general and cosmetic dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and strictly maintain infection control standards.
- Take digital X-rays, impressions, and intraoral scans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining care plans and post-operative instructions with kindness and empathy.
- Keep clinical notes accurate and assist in maintaining efficient treatment schedules.
- Work independently while staying tightly connected with the rest of our small clinical and administrative team.
What You Bring
- Licensing & Experience: Valid BC Dental Assisting License (CDA / LDA qualification). Prior chairside experience is preferred, though motivated team players eager to learn are encouraged to apply!
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with digital dental technology and clinical software (experience with Maxident is a great bonus).
- Core Traits: Confident, organized, and able to work independently while anticipating the dentist’s needs.
