Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves supporting daily kitchen operations, preparing meals, and ensuring a high standard of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent teamwork skills, and experience in a restaurant or food industry environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
Support kitchen staff with food handling, plating, and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies following food safety guidelines
Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure customer safety
Help with stocking supplies and rotating stock items as needed
Support serving staff during busy periods by preparing orders for delivery or pickup
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Skills

Experience in cooking, meal preparation, or food service is preferred
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
Familiarity with restaurant operations or the food industry is a plus
Basic understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation
