Do you take pride in making vehicles look their absolute best? Down East Powersports is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Powersports Detailer / Lot Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing a wide variety of powersports products, including ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, and snowmobiles, ensuring they are showroom-ready and delivered to customers in exceptional condition.
Key Responsibilities
· Wash, clean, polish, and detail new and pre-owned powersports units.
· Prepare units for customer delivery, showroom display, and online photos.
· Clean and maintain the showroom, service write-up areas, and surrounding property as required.
· Perform quality inspections to ensure units meet dealership presentation standards.
· Assist with receiving and staging incoming inventory.
· Pick up and deliver units as required.
· Maintain detailing equipment, supplies, and work areas.
· Support the sales, parts, and service departments as needed.
Required Qualifications
· Valid Class 5 driver's license.
· Clean driving record and ability to be insured under the company's automobile insurance policy.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
· Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move powersports equipment as required.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
· Physically capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and working both indoors and outdoors throughout the day.
Preferred Qualifications
· Previous vehicle detailing, automotive, powersports, recreational vehicle, or equipment cleaning experience.
· Experience operating ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, or snowmobiles.
· Basic knowledge of vehicle cleaning products, detailing equipment, and maintenance procedures.
