Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where quality and teamwork are valued. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring each dish meets our high standards of taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces according to established recipes and standards
Cook pizzas to perfection using ovens and other kitchen equipment
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols
Serve customers at the counter or via take-out orders with friendly and efficient service
Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food handling, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food industry practices
