Full job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time professional and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy office. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is energized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly by providing administrative, reception, and general office support, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $ 21.00/hour
Location: Saint John, NB
Shift: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team
Assist with document preparation, filing, and record management
Maintain organized and accurate files and documentation
Support scheduling, correspondence, and general coordination

Reception Duties:

Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls and emails
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area

Office Operations:

Open and prepare the office for daily operations
Monitor and restock office supplies
Provide support across the office as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role
Legal office experience is considered an asset
Strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Professional communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency with MS Office and basic office systems
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
A proactive self-starter who takes initiative
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Energetic, self-sufficient, and dependable
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong customer service mindset with a polished, professional approach
Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
