Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Lead Spray Foam Insulator to join our team in Saint John, New Brunswick. This role is responsible for leading a spray foam installation crew on residential and commercial projects while ensuring quality workmanship, jobsite safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with spray foam systems, strong leadership abilities, and a solid understanding of building envelope and insulation practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise spray foam installation crews on job sites
Operate and maintain spray foam equipment
Apply spray foam insulation in accordance with manufacturer specifications and building code requirements
Prepare job sites, including masking, ventilation setup, and material staging
Monitor foam quality, thickness, adhesion, and overall installation standards
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
Train and mentor junior installers and helpers
Complete daily job documentation, safety reports, and material tracking
Troubleshoot equipment and application issues as they arise
Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, trailers, and equipment

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 2+ years of spray foam application experience
Previous crew lead or supervisory experience preferred
Valid spray foam certification
Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices
Experience working with closed-cell spray foam systems
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work

Safety Requirements

Strong understanding of PPE requirements and jobsite safety procedures
WHMIS certification required
Fall Protection certification considered an asset
First Aid certification considered an asset
Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment
