Highway Owner Operators

Founded in 1941, Speedy Transport (SZTG) specializes in North American transportation services. Privately held and proudly Canadian, we’re one of Canada’s largest and most trusted carriers.

We’re seeking Highway Owner Operators to run US lanes.

We have held our fuel cost steady at 42.5 cents per litre for over 20 years – it never goes up!! You are protected from the current rate increases!! Which means you earn and take home more than anywhere else!!

If interested, please be prepared to submit Driver's Abstract, CVOR and Criminal
Search (valid within the last 30 days).

SZTG Advantage

Fuel Cap – 42.5 cents/litre – does not change with market conditions
Safety bonus paid twice per year – $0.02 per mile
U.S. and Canadian fuel card provided
Fuel on site at major locations
Great Weekly Mileage - 3,000 minimum
Annual profit sharing
Insurance – $60.00 per week
Fully paid empty miles
Paid for US border crossing
Paid weekly via direct deposit
Health and dental benefits
No restriction on truck age – needs to be well maintained and clean
Free parking & plug-ins for block heaters
All SZTG yards are secured and monitored by onsite security

SZTG Requirements

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
At least two years’ experience as a Class 1 driver, preferably long-distance driving
Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols
Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
Ability to operate ELDs and other relevant technology.
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
Ability to work under pressure and in a time-sensitive environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

Exigences SZTG

Qualifications :

Permis de conduire classe 1 valide avec dossier de conduite impeccable
Minimum de deux ans d’expérience comme conducteur classe 1, de préférence en longue distance
Connaissance des règlements de transport et des protocoles de sécurité
Excellentes aptitudes en communication interpersonnelle et en service à la clientèle
Capacité à utiliser les DCE (ELD) et autres technologies pertinentes
Grande attention aux détails et bonnes compétences en gestion du temps
Capacité à travailler sous pression dans un environnement où les délais sont serrés
Disponibilité pour travailler selon un horaire flexible, incluant les soirs et les fins de semaine au besoi
