Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer/Carpenter to join our construction team. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures with a focus on framing of mobile and manufactured homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with the ability to read blueprints and operate power tools safely. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including siding and roofing, contributing to high-quality building outcomes.

Responsibilities

Erect buildings and perform stud framing with precision and adherence to schematics
Perform framing tasks using hand tools and power tools, including trim carpentry and woodworking
Operate equipment safely for preparation and material handling
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction
Install siding, roofing, and other exterior finishes in accordance with project specifications
Assist in on-site repairs and maintenance
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Heavy lifting required; maintain a clean and organized work environment
Work is indoors and shift is Monday-Thursday 10 hour days

Experience

Proven experience in construction framing and other related fields
Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and working with various materials such as wood, metal, and siding
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise project execution
Prior experience in roofing, siding installation, remodeling projects, or restoration work is preferred
Strong understanding of safety standards on construction sites and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about construction craftsmanship who are eager to contribute to diverse building projects while honing their skills across multiple trades within the industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
