Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Janitor to maintain cleanliness across our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks and ensuring a hygienic environment for staff and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained, professional workspace through efficient cleaning and upkeep.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of floors to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper
Follow safety procedures during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Ensure all work areas are kept organized and free of hazards

Requirements

Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting (up to 20 pounds or emptying buckets of water )
Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Reliable with good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all building occupants

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
