Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sheet Metal Shop Forman. We are hoping to find someone that is interested in long-term employment and wants for grow with the team.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the sheet metal fabrication team to meet production goals efficiently.
Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality using lean manufacturing principles.
Oversee material planning and inventory management through ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms to ensure timely supply chain flow.
Monitor quality control procedures throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards and compliance with specifications.
Lead assembly operations, ensuring proper techniques are followed and safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
Conduct regular training sessions on safety procedures, process updates, and technical skills to develop team capabilities.

Experience

Several years experiance as a Red Seal Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker. Sheet Metal Shop experiance would be a definate asset.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to sheet metal assembly, fabrication techniques, and equipment operation.
Basic computer proficiency and knowledge.
Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements using lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
Knowledge of quality control standards and practices within a manufacturing setting.
Abilty to schedule tasks for ultimate productivity.
Multi-tasking abilities.

Pay: $42.50-$48.00 per hour
