We are currently hiring a Security Officer to join our Chances Salmon Arm Team.

We are seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team. If you are looking for a dynamic and entertaining environment to build your career, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What you will be doing

Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for patrons.
Verify identification in compliance with provincial legislative and Chances/Berezan standards.
Ensure the safety of patrons and staff by monitoring and maintaining a secure environment.
Complete daily reporting requirements accurately and in a timely manner.
Report any activities in accordance with BCLC and Chances/Berezan procedure manuals.
Provide escorts to patrons and staff as needed.
Maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
Report any health and safety concerns promptly.
Understand and effectively communicate the Responsible Gambling (RG) program to customers.
Review audit sheets and ensure they are completed and up to date.

What you will bring

Strong commitment to teamwork.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Organizational skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch.
Must be 19+
