Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Operator and become a vital part of producing precision-engineered components. In this energetic role, you will operate and monitor CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to ensure high-quality production standards are met. Your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and passion for machining will drive efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing processes. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills in advanced machining technologies while contributing to innovative product solutions.

Duties

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines and press brake machines to produce parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure precise machining operations
Program CNC equipment to optimize machine performance and part quality
Perform routine inspections using calipers, hand tools, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and adherence to quality standards
Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process, making adjustments as needed for optimal output
Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; operate forklifts for material handling when necessary
Assist with assembly, packaging, and warehouse tasks to support overall production flow

Skills

Strong understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and manufacturing processes
Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations
Knowledge of welding techniques and use of welding equipment is a plus
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine automation control systems
Ability to operate overhead crane and forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required
Experience in quality control procedures within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Basic understanding of machining operations like CNC programming, machining setup, and troubleshooting.

Pay: $17.60-$28.38 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
