Key Responsibilities:
SGCC is currently looking for a Club Services team member to undertake the following key responsibilities:
Cleaning and Maintenance:
· Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sweeping, and emptying trash bins.
· Clean and sanitize washrooms and locker rooms.
· Wash and replace towels and linens as required.
· Replenish all washroom and locker room items and amenities.
· Assist in setting up and breaking down events by moving tables, chairs, and other necessary equipment.
· Ensure event spaces are properly arranged and ready for use in a timely manner.
· Report any Member or guest concerns or complaints to the Food & Beverage Manager or General Manager.
· Other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage Manager
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all health & safety protocols, including proper equipment handling, maintaining a hazard-free work environment, and always following health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area to prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience as a custodian or in housekeeping is an asset.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
· Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, perform repetitive tasks, move furniture, and stand for extended periods.
· A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
· Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and Holidays
