Our current opening is for a Mould Designer
In this position, you will design tooling for the Plastic Injection Molding industry.

Job responsibilities will include:
Mechanical design of tooling and equipment according to customer standards,
Detailing, completion, and population of the Bill of Materials (B.O.M.) for mechanical designs of moulds, and other tooling and equipment
Ensure that systems and processes are consistently used so that every job is adequately planned for and executed according to project specifications from project kick-off to the project completion
Communicate with vendors in the selection of appropriate components and get up to date pricing and delivery for the job B.O.M. population
Assist the manufacturing team in troubleshooting and solving manufacturing and quality problems
Purchasing of direct material and outside services
Maintaining up-to-date job history files
Assist the 1-S.D. team in ensuring that the quality of our product(s) meet or exceed the customer’s expectations
Consistently model professional and friendly customer service to all employees, customers, and vendors
Qualifications and Skills:
Successful completion of the Mould Design program from an accredited College or other recognized institution of learning is preferable
Prior experience as a Mould Maker is considered a big asset
Minimum 5 years of experience in Die Cast Die Design
Proficient using design software programs (ie: Unigraphics, Powershape, etc.) for 3D modeling and design of tooling
Ability to effectively communicate and establish relationships, credibility, and trust with all levels of employees within the organization
Must have good verbal and written communication skills in order to present proper company image when meeting with customers
Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, and within a team, to meet project timelines
Attention to detail
Committed to the Company’s continuous improvement initiatives
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to read and write English

Junior Designer pay range $25-27 per hour
Senior Designer pay range $32-37 per hour
