Focused on the production of synthetic rubber, the Sarnia facility is a major supplier to both domestic and international markets and employs over 300 employees.

About the Role
As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing site. Working closely with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams, you will help foster a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and nuclear safety requirements.
What You'll Do
Coordinate and improve occupational health and safety programs and safe work practices.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
Support risk assessments, audits, inspections, and safety performance tracking.
Deliver and support safety training programs and competency initiatives.
Act as the Site Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and maintain compliance with applicable nuclear safety regulations.
Assist with site environmental and HSEQ initiatives as required.
Collaborate with employees, contractors, and leadership to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant health and safety experience, preferably in a manufacturing, petrochemical, or industrial setting.
CRSP or CRST designation (or working toward certification) is an asset.
Strong understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
Experience with incident investigations, audits, training, and risk assessments.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Expected Compensation:
$80,800 - $121,320 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
