Job Summary
The Clinical Research Coordinator conducts all aspects of the clinical study as directed by the principals. The Clinical Research Coordinator works among a collaborative interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals to coordinate and execute all aspects of the clinical study. The Clinical Research Coordinator liaises with study sponsors, regulatory officials, and research partners to effectively execute the activities of the clinical study.

Job Description and Primary Responsibilities
· Guide patients through the recruitment, enrollment, and retention process for the clinical study.
· Completing patient vital signs, electrocardiography, and phlebotomy.
· Dispensing of medication under the direction of the Principal Investigator.
· Remain current on pathophysiology, diagnosis, and clinical treatment for disease conditions of the clinical study under your direction.
· Treat subjects in a kind and caring manner.
· Maintain meticulous documentation of subjects on their electronic medical records.
· Remain current on good clinical practice of clinical studies.
· Liaise with study sponsors, regulatory officials, and research partners.

· Working during regular and extended hours of operation in locations identified by the Team.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
· Diploma in a health-related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
· Two years administrative support experience in a health setting preferred.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to multi-task and work efficiently with strong time management skills.
· Ability to work under time pressures.
· Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
· Ability to listen effectively and accurately relay messages to physicians.
· Strong conflict resolution skills with an emphasis on patient care.
· Strong understanding of confidentiality and privacy.
· Knowledge of and working experience with computer systems and applications. Practice Solutions software an asset.
