Office Administrator

Company: Bluewater Pallet
Position: Permanent Full-Time Office Administrator
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Compensation: Competitive wage, benefits, and bonus opportunities based on experience.

We are currently seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team in mid-August. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance to ensure reliable attendance during all weather conditions.

Qualifications

· Experience in office administration and bookkeeping.

· Working knowledge of accounting software (experience with Sage 50 is an asset).

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

· Strong communication and customer service skills, over the phone, by email and in person.

· Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

· Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing requests as appropriate.

· Receive and process customer orders, ensuring all order details are accurately recorded.

· Prepare shipping documentation.

· Process invoices and monitor accounts receivable.

· Maintain accurate office records, including payroll, employee files, quality documentation, and Health & Safety records.

· Provide general administrative support to the management team.

· Assist with additional office duties as required.

Preferred Assets

· Experience working in a small business or business-to-business (B2B) environment.

· Familiarity with ISO quality management systems.
