Project Manager / Estimator Assistant
WINMAR® Sarnia is seeking a motivated and career-focused Project Manager / Estimator Assistant to join our growing team.

Working under the guidance of a Senior Estimator / Project Manager, you will receive hands-on training while gaining experience in estimating, project management, customer service, and restoration operations.

Responsibilities
· Assist with site inspections and documenting property damage.
· Learn to prepare estimates using Xactimate.
· Assist in coordinating restoration and reconstruction projects.
· Schedule trades, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
· Maintain project documentation using PSA.
· Communicate with homeowners, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and team members.
· Monitor project progress and assist with project completion.
· Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the restoration process.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Post-secondary education in construction, engineering technology, project management, or a related field is considered an asset.
· Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
· Ability to travel to residential, commercial, and emergency job sites.
· Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications (Assets, Not Required)
Training will be provided to the successful candidate. The following qualifications are considered assets but are not required:
· Restoration or construction experience.
· Experience with Xactimate.
· Experience with PSA or similar job management software.
· IICRC certifications.
· Knowledge of insurance restoration processes.
Work Schedule
Due to the emergency nature of the restoration industry, flexibility in working hours is required.
As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must be willing to:
· Work overtime as required.
· Participate in the company’s on-call rotation.
· Respond to after-hours, evening, weekend, and holiday emergency calls when scheduled.
· Travel to job sites throughout the service area.
· Adjust work hours to meet operational, customer, and emergency response needs.
