Job Description
CEDA is hiring Class 1 and Class 3 Operators at our Regina, SK location! If you’re looking for a company that will give you the opportunity to learn and gain experience on all pieces of equipment like vacuum truck, hydro-vac, high pressure water jetting and chemical cleaning units!

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Operate and maintain vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools
-
Proficient with driving manual transmissions
-
90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground!
-
Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity
-
Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back
-
Ensure safety for all team members and property
-
Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
-
Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
-
Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
-
Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents
-
Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time
-
Provide guidance to Laborers as required
Qualifications
-
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
-
Driving is in your nature, then passing CEDA’s Driver Assessment in a manual transmission will be a breeze (10, 13 and 18 speed)

Experience in an industrial environment and asset

SCOT (Safety Construction Orientation Training) certification an asset
-
Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset
-
Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Skills
-
Strong mechanical aptitude
-
Very comfortable with manual transmissions
-
Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
-
Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)

Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions
