Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our organization’s HR initiatives and foster a positive, productive Christian workplace culture. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee/resident/family relations, attendance management, HRIS systems, policy & procedures, OH&S, EPP, education and compliance. Your leadership will drive organizational development, enhance employee engagement, and ensure our HR practices align with business goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our workforce through innovative programs, process improvements, and effective change management strategies.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive human resources strategies that support organizational growth and cultural transformation.
Lead talent acquisition efforts and attract top talent across all levels.
Oversee employee relations initiatives to promote a positive work environment, resolve conflicts, and ensure adherence to employment laws and policies.
Manage HR programs including onboarding, training & development, performance management, and succession planning to foster continuous employee growth.
Deliver HR services such as benefits administration and HRIS data management.
Implement process improvements in HR workflows through data analysis skills and data collection techniques to optimize efficiency.
Negotiate employment terms, vendor contracts for HR services and manage budgets related to HR initiatives.
Lead change management efforts during organizational restructuring or policy updates while maintaining clear communication.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to human resources management and employee safety standards.
Praying at management meetings/events.
Assisting residents at breakfast and throughout the day

Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or similar education.
Proven supervisory experience leading HR teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on human resources management and employee relations. Preferred experience in the Sask Health Authority union or non-union.
Extensive experience in talent acquisition.
Demonstrated success in program management including training & development initiatives and process improvement projects.
Strong negotiation skills for employment offers and vendor agreements.
Strong computer skills especially in MS Office.
Knowledge of HR sourcing strategies and experience with HRIS systems.
Excellent communication skills paired with presentation skills for stakeholder engagement and training sessions.
Ability to analyze data effectively for decision-making purposes in areas such as workforce planning and organizational development.
