Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Event Manager/Bartender to join our team. This role combines the responsibilities of managing event operations with providing exceptional bartending and customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, possess excellent time management skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to creating memorable guest experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment, ensuring smooth event execution while delivering top-notch hospitality.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and food safety regulations
Manage bar inventory, including restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness
Handle POS transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
Oversee event flow, ensuring timely service and adherence to event schedules
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, adhering to food safety and handling protocols
Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces as needed
Manage multiple responsibilities efficiently through effective time management during busy events

Requirements

Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, bar, or hospitality environments
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for cashiering and transaction processing
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced event environments
Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all legal requirements and company policies
Previous experience in serving or bartending roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
Must be personable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
