Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Competitive Program Director & Coach to lead our competitive gymnastics team. This role involves developing training programs, mentoring athletes, and fostering a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching gymnastics CPP levels 6-10, with a strong commitment to athlete and coach development.

Qualifications

NCCP WAG Competition 2 certified and Competition 3 trained
NCCP Foundations Trampoline trained
A degree or a diploma is an asset

Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive training plans tailored to various skill levels while ensuring safety.
Coach athletes during practices and competitions, providing technical guidance and motivation.
Monitor, mentor and support team coaches.
Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
Organize and oversee team events, training camps, and competitions.
Collaborate with parents, staff, and other coaches to ensure effective communication and athlete support.
Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols and best practices.
Promote the sport of gymnastics to attract new talent and increase competitive program participation.

Skills

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
Excellent communication skills for effective coaching, mentorship, and collaboration.
Proficient in administrative and computer skills.
