Full job description

KWS Keys Welding Service Ltd., a division of the STC Industrial Group of Companies, is a First Nations owned welding and fabrication shop delivering safe, competitive, quality services to our clients, and engagement and growth to Indigenous communities and people.

KWS Keys Welding Service Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Paint Shop Labourer located at our facility in the North Corman Industrial Park. The Paint Shop Labourer supports the painters and shop team by preparing materials, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and assisting with basic shop tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist painters with prepping parts (cleaning, sanding, masking, hanging, etc.)

· Move materials in and out of the paint area

· Keep the paint booth and surrounding work areas clean and organized

· Perform basic touch-ups.

· Follow safety procedures, including PPE requirements

· Assist with loading/unloading and general shop duties as needed

· Work as part of a team but also independently when required

· Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

What we are looking for:

· Prior paint shop or industrial labour experience is an asset but not required

· Comfortable working around paint, chemicals, and equipment

· Good attention to detail

· Willingness to learn and follow directions

· Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet

· Reliable and safety-focused

Shifts: 4 - 10's
