The Kennedy Eye Clinic & The Eye Studio by Kennedy Eye Clinic team is looking for an optometric assistant to join our team because one of our own is going to optometry school this Fall! ! We are a fun group of people and office culture is very important and at the heart is everything we do. We are a full-scope independent group of optometry clinics; amazing customer service is what we are known for. We are looking for someone to work FT 36-40 hours a week as a receptionist/pre-tester. The job would go between both of our locations (one is in Sutherland and one is in the Broadway area). This position is for 4 days a week (three to four 10 hour shifts and two Saturdays a month, which are 6 hour shifts).

· Check in patients, run through insurance, book appointments, answer phone calls and take payments
· Pre-test patients before they see the doctor
· Keep the office organized and clean
· Be able to troubleshoot independently
Qualifications:
· You MUST be good with people!
· You need to be able to help patients of all ages and of all backgrounds
· Have a positive attitude and mindset
· Organization and attention to detail is key so you must be able to multi-task
· Be professional yet enthusiastic
· Respond well to constructive criticism
Hours
· We are open Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday from 8am-6pm, Thursdays from 9am-7pm, and Saturdays from 9-3. We are closed every long weekend.
Compensation:
· Starts at $17/hour and will be higher based on how much experience in the industry you have
